Helikon Investments Increases Stake in Bank of Cyprus

Italian Investment Fund Helikon Nearly Doubles Its Shareholding in the Bank of Cyprus

The investment fund Helikon Investments Limited has increased its stake in the Bank of Cyprus. According to a statement released by the Bank of Cyprus yesterday, the Italian investment fund, based in London, reported that its voting rights (corresponding to shares) in the bank have risen to 4.04% of the share capital.

Helikon's previous stake was 2.04%.

Additionally, the Bank of Cyprus announced that it will pay a dividend of 25 cents per common share for the 2023 fiscal year, with the ex-dividend date set for April 25.
