RIF Launches Six-Week Internship Program for Students

Students Can Now Apply for a Six-Week Internship at 61 Companies, Supported by a €1,400 Grant From the Research and Innovation Foundation

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) is offering students the opportunity to undertake a six-week internship, available between June 3 and September 30, at 61 research and innovation companies. Each internship is sponsored by a €1,400 grant from RIF upon completion and submission of an activity report.

RIF has announced that the deadline for students interested in the internship is June 2, 2024. Companies will complete their selection of candidates by June 3, 2024. A list of participating companies is posted on the RIF website, providing details such as company profiles, available periods for student employment, and minimum qualifications required.

It is clarified that both undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of their year of study, are eligible to participate in the program. Students from abroad are also encouraged to apply.

To participate, students must directly contact the companies by submitting a resume, a copy of their degree, and/or a registration certificate. The companies will then select candidates based on how well they meet the qualifications, their resumes, and/or interviews.

Selected students will receive a €1,400 grant from RIF after completing the internship and submitting a report on their activities.

This program is funded by the Republic of Cyprus.
