Landmark Nicosia Hotel Joins Autograph Collection by Marriott
It Is Expected to Open by the Close of 2024
In a major development for Cyprus’ hospitality industry, the iconic Landmark Nicosia Hotel is set to become a part of Marriott International's prestigious Autograph Collection Hotels. Following an agreement between Marriott International, Inc. and MHV, the establishment will soon dawn a new name: "The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection". Expected to open by the close of 2024, this will mark the first Cypriot property to be integrated into the Autograph Collection's premium portfolio.
The Autograph Collection is no ordinary assemblage of hotels. With over 290 properties spread across the globe, each hotel in the collection is meticulously chosen, passing stringent standards that vouch for uniqueness and authenticity. Although every hotel has its distinct tale to tell, they all resonate a profound connection to their locale, ensuring guests experience memories that linger.
Reflecting on this association, Charis Michael, CEO of MHV remarked, “Our expanding association with Marriott International, from Limassol’s Parklane to the soon-to-be Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection, stands as a testament to the calibre and breadth of this project. Envisioned to be a crowning jewel for both Nicosia and Cyprus, we're teeming with pride and enthusiasm.”
However, the hotel’s transformation is just one slice of the ambitious pie that is the Landmark Nicosia development project. It promises more than just plush rooms and a rich history. Two imposing towers, catering to both office spaces and residences, are to rise in the vicinity of the hotel. In addition, guests and residents will benefit from expansive underground parking facilities and a revived adjacent park.
The Landmark Nicosia, true to its name, has always been a notable point of reference in the city. The revamped hotel design focuses on offering holistic well-being experiences without overshadowing its illustrious past. Through its modern facilities and services, it's set to paint Cyprus’ rich history with a contemporary stroke, promising an eclectic mix of luxury and genuineness. From a trio of pools and signature pool bar to tennis courts, a world-class spa, two signature restaurants, and upscale retail shops, the hotel aspires to be a haven for both locals and international guests.
